Michel Roux to return to Queen Anne for five Cunard culinary residencies

Michel Roux will return to Cunard’s Queen Anne for five ‘Le Gavroche at Sea’ culinary residencies across 2027 and 2028.

The two-Michelin-starred chef will host dinners inspired by his former restaurant, Le Gavroche, which has closed on land.

The residencies will take place on seven-night Norway and Norwegian Fjords sailings in May, August and September 2027, followed by a Norway and Denmark voyage in May 2028 and a Norwegian Fjords sailing in June 2028.

Dinners at Sir Samuels, the ship’s speciality restaurant, will feature a curated tasting menu inspired by Le Gavroche’s signature dishes, with each evening limited to 50 guests.

Guests will also be able to meet Ursula and Silvia Perberschlager, known as ‘The Sisters’, who worked at Le Gavroche for more than 20 years.

The programme will include cooking demonstrations, talks, Q&A sessions and book signings with Michel.

Guests on the residency sailings will also be offered a three-course Gala menu in the main dining rooms and an enhanced seafood offering at Carinthia Lounge.

Cunard President Paul Ludlow said: “The response to Le Gavroche at Sea has been extraordinary since its launch, and we’re delighted to continue our partnership with Michel in 2027 and 2028.

“Michel’s passion for exceptional cuisine and craftsmanship aligns perfectly with Cunard’s commitment to creating unforgettable experiences at sea.

“These residencies bring together outstanding dining, inspiring enrichment and some of Northern Europe’s most spectacular scenery, creating voyages that are truly unique to Queen Anne. We know our guests look forward to these sailings each year, and we’re delighted to offer another season of memorable culinary experiences.”

Michel added: “Working with Cunard on Le Gavroche at Sea has been a wonderful experience, and I’m delighted to continue the partnership. Today, Queen Anne is the only place in the world where guests can experience the spirit of Le Gavroche in this way, bringing together exceptional food, great company and unforgettable travel.

“Sharing that experience at sea, while sailing through some of the world’s most spectacular destinations, makes it truly special. I look forward to welcoming guests on board for another memorable season.”
