Celestyal has introduced in-cabin guest tablets across Celestyal Discovery, completing a rollout that began on Celestyal Journey in January.
The tablets, provided by SuitePad, are now available in all rooms on the 1,360-guest ship and allow passengers to manage onboard services directly from their cabins.
Functions include ordering room service, booking speciality dining, requesting upgrades and making purchases from onboard shops.
Guests can also access deck plans and entertainment schedules, replacing printed materials.
VP of Marketing, PR and Customer Experience Janet Parton said: “Our partnership with SuitePad has been a great success on Celestyal Journey, and we’re pleased to now bring this technology to every guest on Celestyal Discovery.
“It’s a simple change, but one that gives travellers more convenience, more choice and more time to enjoy their cruise.”
The move comes as Celestyal expands its deployment of Celestyal Discovery, which is set to operate the line’s first Western Mediterranean programme.
