Ambassador Cruise Line has launched a new trade portal for agents, replacing its existing system.
The new portal lets agents search, quote, book and manage sailings, as well as access live campaigns, incentives, training, marketing assets and business support.
Agents will now have individual secure accounts and personalised dashboards, replacing shared agency logins.
The new portal is now live, with agents required to move across before the 30 September deadline, when the existing system will close.
The portal was developed with feedback from Ambassador’s trade network, with ROL Cruise working alongside the cruise line’s IT team to test and refine the system.
Ambassador Cruise Line Head of Distribution Nicola Harper said: “Our trade partners are a vital part of Ambassador’s success, so I am delighted that the new Trade Portal is now live and giving agents a much simpler way to do business with us.
“We made a conscious decision not simply to update the existing system. We looked again at the whole journey from an agent’s perspective and worked closely with ROL Cruise and our wider trade network to create something practical, intuitive and genuinely built around the way agents work.
“This launch has been a major collaborative effort across the business and I would like to thank everyone who helped develop, test and deliver the Portal. It provides a strong platform that can continue to develop alongside our trade partners and our business.”
