Wendy Wu Tours is giving away 10 places on a China Mega Fam in October.
The places will be awarded to agents who create the best-dressed shop windows and most engaging social media posts to publicise Wendy Wu’s new campaign, launched to coincide with the new series of Race Across the World, which returns to BBC1 and iPlayer tonight (Wednesday 23 April).
The new series sees contestants racing through China, Nepal and India and to mark the show’s return, Wendy Wu is offering free flights for partners on selected group tours to China and India and half-price flights for solo travellers.
Head of Trade Sales Gary King said: “Race Across the World is the perfect showcase for the spirit of adventure that drives so many of our travellers.
“We’re thrilled to see China, India and Nepal in the spotlight – three of our most iconic destinations – and it’s a brilliant moment for agents to tap into that national buzz.
“Interest in specialist touring to Asia is booming, and as the UK’s number one Asia specialist, Wendy Wu Tours is uniquely positioned to deliver the depth of experience today’s culturally curious traveller is craving.
“With our exclusive free flights offer for partners and half-price flights for solo travellers, agents have a huge opportunity to deliver unbeatable value and unforgettable travel.”
The partner flies free and half-price solo traveller offer is valid on bookings made between 23 April and 20 June 2025.
Business Development Managers began a 10-day national trade blitz this week, visiting agents with campaign merchandise and sales tools.
Agents who get creative and publicise Wendy Wu’s tours online or in their shop windows will be in with a chance of joining the fam, as places will be awarded to the best-dressed shop windows and most engaging social media posts.
The competition will run throughout the new series of Race Across the World and the judges will include Wendy Wu Tours founder and Managing Director Wendy Wu herself.
Gary added: “TV-inspired travel is turning into real-world bookings at an incredible pace. This campaign gives agents the tools – and the rewards – to make the very most of it.”
