Wendy Wu Tours has partnered with All Nippon Airways (ANA) to encourage agents to sell Japan beyond the peak cherry blossom season, backed by a new trade campaign and booking incentives.
The campaign coincides with the launch of Wendy Wu Tours’ new Japan brochure covering 2026–2028 and is aimed at repositioning the destination as a year-round option.
Agents are encouraged to promote shoulder seasons, particularly early summer and autumn, with the operator highlighting fewer crowds, seasonal landscapes and improved value outside the peak.
Wendy Wu Tours has introduced a series of booking incentives across its Japan programme for departures booked by 31 July.
Offers include free flights on selected tours, saving up to £800 per person, and partner-fly-free deals on selected departures, worth up to £400 per person, according to the operator.
Wendy Wu Tours announced agents can also offer half-price single supplements on selected group tours, with savings of up to £1,095, as well as solo traveller discounts of up to £800 on dedicated departures.
The offers are combinable with Wendy Wu Tours’ Loyalty Club discounts.
The campaign also promotes ANA’s daily non-stop service between London Heathrow and Tokyo Haneda, positioning the airline’s premium onboard experience as part of the overall product.
The escorted tours programme covers key highlights and lesser-visited regions such as Hokkaido, Kyushu and Shikoku.
Wendy Wu Tours Head of Trade Sales Gary King said: “For many travellers, Japan has become synonymous with cherry blossom, but the reality is that it’s one of the world’s greatest year-round touring destinations.
“Early summer brings spectacular flower displays, lush landscapes and comfortable touring temperatures, while autumn delivers breathtaking colours, incredible seasonal cuisine and a more relaxed visitor experience. These are experiences that many customers simply don’t realise exist.
“Working with ANA gives us a fantastic opportunity to challenge those perceptions and help our trade partners start different conversations with their customers. By showcasing Japan beyond its most famous season, we’re opening the door to even more sales opportunities throughout the year.
“We’ve also backed the campaign with some of our strongest Japan offers to date, giving agents another compelling reason to encourage customers to book now.”
