Solos Holidays has added two new river cruises for 2025.
The first is a five-night ‘Timeless Venice River Cruise’ on the ship Michelangelo, which is small enough to moor close to St Mark’s Square (pictured).
The itinerary also includes a visit to the Palladian Villas of the Veneto and extra excursions on offer include wine-tasting and food tours.
The tour takes place on 25 July 2025 and costs £1,349 per person including return international flights from Heathrow to Venice and transfers, airport taxes, a main deck cabin for single use, all meals, official welcome from the captain and crew, and the services of an experienced Solos tour leader.
The second new itinerary is a seven-night ‘Beautiful Blue Danube River Cruise’, on Beethoven, visiting Austria, Hungary and Slovakia, including calls at Bratislava, Budapest and Puszta.
Highlights include a traditional Hungarian horse show in the Puszta, a visit to the baroque Schönbrunn Palace, and a cruise through the Wachau Valley. The cruise costs £1,969pp, including flights to Vienna and the services listed above.
