Solos has added a seven-night beer-themed escorted tour in Germany.
The ‘Steam to Steins: A Taste of Germany’ tour departs on 4 September 2026, starting in Wernigerode, where guests can ride on the Harzer Schmalspurbahn steam train.
Guests can join a mustard-making workshop and sample regional brews from Einbeck, the home of bock beer, then visit Bayreuth, for guided tastings at heritage breweries including Maisel’s Bier-Erlebniswelt.
Other highlights include Wernigerode Castle, Wötlingerode Monastery, a guided tour of Bamberg, famous for its smoked beer and quirky beer cellars; the underground Fels Labyrinth in Nuremberg and a traditional bratwurst lunch
The tour costs £2,995 per person, including return flights and transfers, a double room for solo use, breakfast daily, five dinners and two lunches, a welcome drink, inclusions as per itinerary, and an accompanying Solos Tour Leader.
