Riviera extends Travel Concierge service to long-haul bookings

Riviera Travel has extended its Travel Concierge service to long-haul bookings, which means agents will be able to offer clients more flexibility, such as a choice of flights or extended pre- or post-tour accommodation.

Previously, Riviera only offered its Travel Concierge to those booking short-haul packages.

However, after taking onboard feedback from its new agent committee, it has extended the service to longhaul in time for Peaks.

“With our growing emphasis on longhaul, we recognised some gaps, particularly when it came to regional flight bookings,” said Head of Sales Vicky Billing.

“We hope these changes will significantly benefit the agents we work with. We’ve worked diligently to implement these improvements in time for Peaks, making bookings easier than ever.

“Ensuring our hardworking agents have the simplest booking process possible is a top priority for us.”

The range of services available with Travel Concierge include alternative flights, upgrades and an unlimited number of nights  in its pre- or post-tour hotels.

It is expected to benefit agents with clients in regional areas, in particular, as they’ll be able to choose to travel from their most convenient departure point.

Vicky added: “This enhancement is expected to significantly increase booking viability from regional airports.”
