Not in the Guidebooks has launched its own honeymoon portfolio, giving agents access to a catalogue of immersive and experiential honeymoon ideas.
Examples include ziplining and bathing in hot springs in Costa Rica, or watching the sunrise over Machu Picchu, Peru.
For honeymoon bookings made in 2025, Not in the Guidebooks is adding free airport lounge passes.
CEO Carol Savage said: “Honeymoons aren’t just holidays. These are the first chapters of your most incredible adventure – marriage. Many couples already live together before marriage and want their honeymoon to be more than just relaxing on a picturesque beach, they want to have a more adventurous honeymoon experience.
“We’ve also observed the rise of the ‘mini-moon plus adventure-moon’ concept, where couples take a short relaxing trip immediately after the wedding, followed by a longer more adventurous trip months later when they can fully immerse themselves in the experience without wedding fatigue.
“This approach allows couples to enjoy the best of both worlds while creating distinct memories that mark the beginning of their married life together.”
