Mercury Holidays adds tour-only option for private escorted programme

Mercury Holidays has introduced tour-only pricing across its Escorted Private Tours programme, giving agents and clients greater flexibility when booking long-haul itineraries.

The new option allows travellers to book a private tour without flights, enabling them to use airline loyalty points or combine their trip with additional travel plans. The move is designed to support more personalised itineraries and is available immediately across the full Private Tours portfolio.

Among the featured itineraries is the Grand Tour of North India, a 17-day journey taking in Delhi, Varanasi, Jaipur and Amritsar, with highlights including the Taj Mahal and a boat ride on the Ganges.

Other new itineraries include Wonders of China, a 15-day tour featuring a Yangtze River cruise, visits to the Chengdu Panda Breeding Centre, the Terracotta Warriors and the Great Wall, as well as cultural experiences such as a Tang Dynasty show.

Also available is the Grand Tour of Sri Lanka, a 16-day itinerary covering temples, tea plantations, wildlife safaris in Yala and Udawalawe, and beach stays in Passikudah and Mirissa.
