Lufthansa has added 14 flights from Stansted to Munich for the annual Oktoberfest beer festival.
Flights will operate between 19 September to 5 October, with this year’s festival running from 20 September to 5 October.
Over six million people attend Oktoberfest every year, making it the world’s largest public festival. It has been held since 1810 and starts with the ceremonial opening of beer tapping and traditional costume parade.
London Stansted Aviation Director Simon Gorrighan said: “We are delighted to welcome Lufthansa back to London Stansted to once again offer people from across our region an easy and convenient way to experience the world-famous Oktoberfest in Munich.”
