Explore Worldwide has added Algeria to its portfolio, launching three new tours in the North African country.
The small group adventure operator is offering ‘Wonders of Ancient Algeria and the M’Zab Valley’, a 10-day tour that includes stops in Algiers and Constantine, with visitors also skirting the edge of the Sahara Desert and viewing ancient Roman sites.
A second new tour is ‘Algeria Sahara Desert Adventure’, a nine-day trip that includes five nights of wild camping in the desert.
The ‘Wonders of Ancient Algeria and the M’Zab Valley’ and the ‘Algeria Sahara Desert Adventure’ tours can be combined into a third tour called ‘Ancient Algeria and the Sahara Desert’.
The 16-day tour starts in Algiers before exploring ancient Roman sites like Tipaza and the ruins of Djemila. From day 10 onwards, travellers wild camp in the desert.
Explore Worldwide Africa Programme Manager Anthony Barton said: “We are incredibly excited to have Algeria back in our tour programme. As a business, no other company covers as much of the continent of Africa as we do, and it really offers something different and exciting for our customers.”
