Expedition Cruise Network announces latest member

Tall ship Bark Europa has joined the Expedition Cruise Network (ECN) as its newest member.

The three-masted tall ship was originally built in 1911 and offers sailings around Antarctica, Cape Horn and the Pacific.

Bark Europa will also be sailing a 57-day Cape-to-Cape expedition from Ushuaia in Argentia to Walvis Bay in Nambia in April 2025.

ECN CEO and Co-Founder Akvile Marozaite said: “We are excited to welcome the first tall ship to the Expedition Cruise Network. Bark Europa offers adventure and a total immersion into nature, providing customers with a true taste of exploration from a former era. This is an incredible edition to the membership.”

Bark Europa Director Leentje Toering said: “Joining the Expedition Cruise Network as member is a great new chapter for Bark Europa. We are excited to be part of a community that shares our passion for exploration, sustainability and connecting people with the wonders of our planet. We look forward to contributing to meaningful discussions within the network, creating connections that inspire and embarking on new adventures together.”
