Contik has launched three new small-group tours in Nepal following feedback from more than 1,000 respondents to its annual survey, which revealed more demand for active holidays that connect with local cultures.
Managing Director EMEA Kelly Jackson said more than half of those in the 2025 Voice of a Generation survey said it was essential to have a mix of experiences on holiday.
Two-thirds of respondents said hiking was their preference, and nearly a quarter named Nepal as a top destination for this type of travel.
“These new trips tap into that, from hiking through the spiritual hub of the Himalayas to visiting a 2,000-year-old temple,” said Kelly. “They blend adventure, local tradition and meaningful connection to create an experience that stays with you.”
The three new five, six and 10-day tours are for groups of up to 16 people and showcase Nepal’s most iconic landscapes, incorporating community-based and trekking experiences.
