The US Coast Guard is searching for a passenger who fell from a Carnival cruise ship in the Gulf of Mexico.
The passenger, understood to be a 32-year-old woman, fell from the Carnival Valor yesterday afternoon during a cruise from Mexico to New Orleans.
Helicopters were scrambled to search for the woman, but no trace has yet been found.
It is unclear how she entered the water.
