TUI puts focus on ‘great value’ with winter 2026/27 launch

TUI launches 2026/7 winter programme

TUI has put its winter 2006/27 programme on sale, with holidays available to book up until April 2027.

Commercial Commercial Director Chris Logan said the programme has been ‘designed with great value at its core’ and TUI said it has added ‘a record amount of free kids’ places’ and ‘low deposit options to suit all families’. A TUI spokesperson said the operator has increased the number of free kids’ places by about 35% on 2025 and this has been made possible by adding 20 hotels to its free kids’ portfolio.

There are three new TUI ‘concept’ hotels – TUI BLUE Yaramar in Costa Del Sol, the TUI MAGIC LIFE Redsina in Sharm El Sheikh (pictured), and the HOLIDAY VILLAGE Skanes Resort in Tunisia – as well as an expanded long-haul programme, a new wedding destination and more multi-centre options.

The winter programme includes expansion in long-haul destinations such as Phuket, Thailand and Montego Bay, Jamaica, with an additional weekly flight from London Gatwick. TUI said this boost is in direct response to an increase in demand for winter departures.

Thailand weddings will be available for the first time in a winter season, bringing the total number of wedding destinations to 15 with more than 125 venues to choose from.

TUI has also boosted capacity to short- and mid-haul destinations such as the Canaries and Egypt, with flights and packages available from East Midlands Airport to Sharm El Sheikh and Cardiff Airport to Hurghada. This means there are now year-round flights from Wales to Egypt, while a new route from East Midlands Airport to Antalya opens up Turkiye (Turkey) as another winter-sun destination for the Midlands.

Bangkok and Koh Samui are included in the programme as new multi-centre holiday destinations.

TUI has added Arctic Lakeland to the programme, with direct TUI flights from Manchester to Kajaani twice a week. The destination was added in response to the continued demand for traditional Lapland holidays, which consistently sell out year after year.

TUI said Arctic Lakeland ‘offers everything families love about a Finnish Christmas experience, from husky sledding and reindeer rides to personal Santa meetings, but in a more intimate setting from £1,000 per person’.

Chris said: “Our Winter 2026 programme is designed with great value at its core. We understand that Brits are looking for both affordability and exceptional experiences, which is why we’ve expanded our range of destinations and included some great value getaways to choose from.

“We’re making winter getaways more accessible than ever before.”
