TUI UK, Newmarket and Havila Voyages are the latest operators to issue ‘book with confidence’ messages to reassure customers who are still concerned about the current travel situation.
TUI UK Managing Director Neil Swanson sent a message to customers, which has been shared on social media, to say he wanted to give ‘peace of mind from booking right through to returning home’.
He said: “We know you may be feeling a little uneasy after recent headlines and we want to reassure anyone travelling over May half term that they can look forward to their holiday in confidence with TUI. We have good visibility on fuel supplies and are operating our holiday programme as planned, with no flights being cancelled due to fuel shortages.”
Havila Voyages is allowing flexible changes to departure dates and promising no fuel surcharges in its campaign, applicable to bookings made by 30 June 2026.
Chief Sales Officer Johanna Hansli said: “We know that the global situation is currently uncertain and that travel plans can change quickly. That is why we are offering our guests additional security and flexibility with two new guarantees should flights or other circumstances affect their plans.
“Our aim is to ensure that our guests can start their journey with Havila Voyages as relaxed as possible. We therefore hope that, with these two guarantees, the decision to book will be one they can stand behind – and that they can look forward to their Norwegian coastal adventure with joy and without worry.”
