G Touring, which operates the holiday brands Travelsphere and Just You, has confirmed it is making redundancies.
In a statement, it said it is streamlining certain areas of its operations ‘to respond to the current travel landscape’.
“While these transitions are difficult, they are essential steps to strengthen our resilience and ensure we are fully prepared to lead the way as global demand continues to shift,” it added.
However, it said that its trade sales team will not be hit.
The Leicestershire-based business, which is one of a group of companies owned by G Adventures founder Bruce Poon Tip, did not say how many staff will be made redundant.
In its statement, it added: “Agents and trade partners continue to play a key role in our business, and our trade sales team remains unaffected by these changes.”
