Traveleyes will return to independent operation from September, with founder Amar Latif resuming full control of the business.
The move follows a three-year partnership with HF Holidays, which supported the relaunch of the company in the post-pandemic period.
Waking holiday specialist HF Holidays helped stabilise and rebuild the Traveleyes programme during its recovery phase.
Traveleyes pairs blind and sighted travellers on group holidays designed to be shared experiences. The model allows blind travellers to explore destinations with the support of sighted companions, while sighted travellers receive discounted holidays of up to 50% in return for assisting and sharing the experience.
From 26 September, Traveleyes will take back operational control of its holidays and it will manage all departures from October 2026 onwards.
Amar, who positions himself as ‘the blind guy who wants to show you the world’, said: “I’m deeply grateful to HF Holidays and their team for their dedication and passion over the past three years.
“Their support has helped create unforgettable experiences for our travellers. Traveleyes is now ready to build on this success, and HF Holidays will always remain a close friend.”
HF Holidays CEO Chris Simmonds added: “It has been a privilege to help re-establish Traveleyes after the pandemic and now that it is operating successfully again, it is the right time to hand back the business so that they can take it from strength to strength.
“Being a cooperative, I know that our members will feel proud of the support that we have given to this worthwhile and meaningful travel business. HF Holidays and our members wish Amar and his team every success for the future.”
