The number of people placed in new travel jobs in October was higher than at any point since April, according to C&M Travel Recruitment.
There was a month-on-month rise of 32% increase, making October the second highest month for job placements since July 2023.
Last month’s figure was also up by 28% over October 2023.
C&M Travel Recruitment Managing Director Barbara Kolosinska said: “October was a very positive month for travel recruitment with placements rising by a third from September, and more importantly, also up by 28% from last year.
“This is great momentum that we hope to see replicated through the remainder of 2024. With more jobs being made available, this is a fantastic time for candidates to look at the options now available to them and potentially start 2025 with an exciting new role.”
