The deadline for agents in the North East of England to enter the first-ever UK regional travel agent awards has been extended to 17 October.
Agents are invited to nominate themselves or a colleague for The Travel Agent Awards, which will be presented at the Geordie Ball in Newcastle on 5 March 2026.
There are 16 categories in total, including for contributing to the local community, delivering excellent customer service, and leading a team.
Nominees will be invited to the Geordie Ball, a black-tie gala event, to be held at Gosforth Park in partnership with Newmarket Holidays.

Homeworking Agent of the Year
Touring & Adventure Agent of the Year
Weddings & Honeymoons Agent of the Year
Group Travel Agent of the Year
Luxury Travel Curator of the Year
High Street Agent of the Year
Team Leader of the Year
New Agent of the Year
Best Use of Social Media
Shop Window Display of the Year
Marketing Campaign of the Year
Excellence in Customer Service
North East Community Champion
There will also be awards for the Travel Agent of the Year and Outstanding Contribution, which will be judged by an industry panel.
