Travel Counsellors reveals major recruitment boost

Travel Counsellors recruited 67% more homeworkers in the first quarter of this year compared to the same period of 2024.

Over the past three months, 95 agents have joined the business, pushing the total number of homeworkers to more than 2,200.

In March alone, 37 new corporate and leisure Travel Counsellors launched their businesses, 38% more than the previous record set in January.

Travel Counsellors said the new members were a ‘diverse’ mix of experienced travel industry professionals, those returning to the sector and individuals making a career change.

Among them are former police officers, childminders, landscaping specialists, business executives, and a professional footballer-turned-coach.

Two former cabin crew colleagues have joined forces to build an agency business together in TC Teams.

Director of Franchise Sales Matt Harding said: Our focus has never been on numbers alone, but on ensuring that every Travel Counsellor aligns with our values, culture and long-term vision.

By prioritising quality over quantity with our recruitment efforts, we can offer the same high level of personal care, guidance, and community spirit that defines us, helping those who want to build successful and fulfilling careers in travel.”
