Travel Counsellors has reported ‘increasingly strong day-on-day’ sales for Peaks, with global sales reaching £68 million for the year so far up to 18 January.
The homeworking business has taken on 11 new Travel Counsellors (pictured) for 2026 from across leisure, luxury, cruise and corporate travel.
The business added that for five days last week, its global revenue averaged £6m per day, and premium leisure sales have tracked at double-digit growth over the past 28 days.
Travel Counsellors said booking behaviours show customers are ‘increasingly trading up, with higher-value trips and increased trip complexity’.
Ocean and river cruise bookings are up 28% year-on-year, and destinations such as the US, Spain, Greece and the Middle East are also performing well.
Global Sales Director Jim Eastwood said: “Trading over the start of Peaks has been increasingly strong day-on-day, resulting in £68m in sales up to January 18th.
“What’s particularly encouraging is that this growth continues to be driven by new customers seeking thoughtful, experience-led travel, and by repeat clients who value a close, personal relationship with their Travel Counsellor.
“Demand for long-haul and premium leisure remains strong, with the USA performing well including bookings linked to the 2026 World Cup providing a notable boost – and a significant uplift for Florida and New York in particular.
“Both sea and river cruising are performing very strongly reflecting an ongoing appetite for carefully curated, highly immersive and inclusive travel experiences that begin as soon as travellers step aboard.”
