Nick Camacho is joining Protected Trust Services as New Business Manager after eight years at Travel Counsellors.
He has also previously worked for other travel companies, including Thomas Cook and Hays Travel.
In his role as Duty Office Manager at Travel Counsellors, Nick supported travellers, franchisees, airlines, destination management companies and suppliers.
PTS Managing Director Emma Collis said: “I’m really excited to be welcoming Nick to the team.
“Nick brings years of valuable experience in the travel industry and from the moment we met him during the interview process the connection just felt right.
“He understands the industry, but just as importantly, he’s someone people naturally warm to and trust, and that’s key for us.
“As PTS continues to grow and we strengthen the support we provide to members starting and developing their travel businesses, the timing of Nick joining the team feels just right.”

“I’ve spent more than 30 years in the travel industry, most recently eight years with Travel Counsellors. During that time, I built strong commercial relationships and supported members through both growth and some of the most challenging periods our industry has faced.
“In my new role, I’ll be focused on bringing new members on board, helping them understand the strength of the PTS membership model, and supporting them as they build compliant, resilient and successful businesses.
“I’m equally looking forward to meeting existing members and working closely with head-office teams, strengthening relationships and ensuring we’re aligned as PTS continues to grow in a considered and sustainable way.”
