Travel Counsellors has made two appointments to its support team.
Jon Hardcastle has joined in the newly created role of Business Performance Manager. He will be based both at the company’s support centre in Manchester and on the road, visiting top-performing Travel Counsellors.
Jon joins from Marriott International, where he was Senior Sales Manager. Before that, he was Head of Agency Sales at Elegant Resorts, and he has also worked at ITC Travel Group and Gold Medal.
Jon said: “I am delighted to support the business growth of individual Travel Counsellors, many of whom I know from my previous roles, and ensure that they have the structures and plans in place to achieve their business goals.”
Global Sales Director Jim Eastwood said, “Our aim is always to support our TCs and their businesses with the best tools, tech, training and coaching possible. Jon’s skillset and highly relational approach makes him the perfect addition to the team, helping our TCs attract new business, nurture a loyal customer base and fully maximise our technology platform.”
The second appointment is Karen Crick, who has joined Travel Counsellors for Business as Corporate Account Manager.
Karen, who has a background in business travel, joins from Key Travel, where she was Account Manager. She will be responsible for supporting Travel Counsellors’ top performing corporate business owners and their clients.
