Thailand introduces new entry rule

Visitors to Thailand will now have to complete a digital arrival card before arriving in the country.

The free Thailand Digital Arrival Card (TDAC) became mandatory for all non-Thai nationals entering the country on 1 May 2025.

The TDAC must be completed three days before arrival, with visitors receiving confirmation after submitting the form.

Arrivals will need to present the TDAC at immigration, either digitally or in print.

The new mandatory card can be found here.

Tourism Authority of Thailand UK & Ireland Director Worapa Ankhasirisap said: “We have been busy updating our operator and agent network but we’d like to remind agents that when making a booking to Thailand now, please advise all passengers to apply for a TDAC and tell them to apply via the official website and follow the step by step guide for Arrival Card.”
