Sunvil Group Managing Director Chris Wright is among two new members that have been appointed to ABTA’s Board of Directors.
The other is former President of the National Farmers’ Union Lady Minette Batters.
Their appointments were confirmed at ABTA’s AGM on Thursday 28 November, together with Celebrity Cruises Vice President and Managing Director UK & Ireland Giles Hawke, whose appointment was announced earlier this month.
Former Der Touristik UK CEO and Kuoni MD Derek Jones has stood down after serving on the board for more than six years. He remains in his role as Chairman of ABTA LifeLine.
ABTA Chairman Alistair Rowland said: “I am delighted to welcome Lady Minette Batters and Chris Wright to the ABTA Board. Moving forward their varied and in-depth experience and expertise will prove invaluable as we continue to represent members’ interests with Government and other influential decision makers.”
