Engineers at British Airways, who had threatened to strike this autumn, will no longer take industrial action.
The 2,000 engineers were preparing to strike in a disagreement over annual leave, which has now been resolved.
The union Unite said that, had the strike gone ahead, it ‘would have caused massive disruption to the airline’.
