The threat of strike action at Edinburgh Airport has ended after 300 workers agreed to a pay deal, says the Unite union.
Unite has confirmed that 300 Menzies Aviation workers at the airport have agreed to a one-year day deal. Wages will increase by 6.5% for most workers, with some gaining up to 10%.
A pay grade system, which rewards length of service and skills, and covers dispatchers, allocators, airside agents and controllers, was also negotiated for by the union.
