Simpson Travel confirms agent support with new appointment

Independent villa and boutique hotel specialist Simpson Travel has expanded its trade team with the appointment of Business Development Executive Mariana Canico.

Mariana (pictured top left), previously a front office assistant at Radisson Blu in Birmingham, is responsible for providing trade support to agents across marketing, social media, and events.

She joins existing members of the dedicated trade team – Head of Trade Sales Hannah Naylor-Vane and Trade Sales Executive Daniel Conitzer.

“With her social media expertise, she will add a huge amount to the team, producing regular Facebook content and product updates that agents can use, as well as weekly agent newsletters and meeting agents face-to-face,” said Hannah (pictured top right).

“Her appointment will also enable me to spend more time with agents – specifically on training and at conferences and events.”

She said that, following news of the closure of Classic Collection, Simpson wanted to reassure agents of its commitment to the trade. “With our range of villas and boutique hotels across the Mediterranean, in destinations including Greece, Turkey, Corsica, France, Italy and Mallorca, along with premium services and a commitment to customer experience, our approach reflects many of the philosophies that Classic Collection originally stood for.

“Whilst we are best known for our villas, we also have an outstanding selection of beachfront boutique hotels, so for any agents who are looking for alternatives to what Classic Collection offered, please do feel free to speak to one of the team.”

Simpson Travel will be offering a number of fam trips early in the 2026 season, she said. Agents wishing to register for these,  should contact one of the team on 020 4586 7076 or email [email protected].
