Seaside Travel promotes five branch managers to senior team

Seaside Travel has created a senior management team, which has led to promotions for managers of five of its branches.

The team is headed up by former Training and Resources Manager Paula Gleeson, who is now Head of Business and Commercial in the new restructure.

Owner Nicola Park’s son, Michael, has joined the business as Senior Assets Manager and Yasmin Kane, who was Manager of Seaside Travel’s original shop, in Easington, becomes Operations Senior Manager.

The other members of the senior team are Sacriston branch Manager Kate Dixon, who becomes Training and Community Manager; Hartley branch Manager Katelyn Cook, who is now Brand and Social Media Manager; Wingate branch Manager Donna Baker, who is now Regional Sales Manager East, while Rebecca Rutter, who has managed several shops in the portfolio, becomes Regional Sales Manager West.

The restructure follows the departure of Brand Manager Richard Lowrey-Heywood, who has left on amicable terms, Paula said.

She told Travel Gossip: “It’s an exciting time for Seaside Travel because we’re opening our 12th shop in Amble, Northumberland this week and we’re planning a 13th shop in April, but we can’t reveal the location yet.

“We’re officially opening our new head office in Wingate in three weeks’ time. The staff changes mean we have been able to promote our assistant branch managers and we are also advertising for three new staff members.”
