Cruise line trade support executive Chris Scripps is through to the final of ITV talent show Starstruck – and if he wins he will be £50,000 better off.
Chris appeared on the first episode of the second series of Starstruck, which aired on Saturday.
In the show, three members of the public form a team and perform as the same artist. In the first round, they sing together, pitting their talents against other teams performing as different celebrities.
After that, the three team members must compete in a sing-off, where the best performer gets a place in the final.
Chris and his fellow team members, who all performed as Team Sam Smith, made it through to round two, beating off Team Tom Jones, Team Taylor Swift and Team Chaka Khan.
In the sing-off, Chris, who works for Celebrity Cruises, was chosen by the audience as the best Sam Smith of the three.
He’s now through to the final and, if he wins that, he’ll take home £50,000.
