Ryanair carried 21 million passengers in August, the most it has carried in a single month.
Passenger numbers were up 500,000, or 2%, compared to August 2024. The carrier’s load factor remained unchanged at 96%.
Wizz Air also reported growth for August, carrying 6.91m passengers last month, 11.4% higher than August 2024.
Seat capacity increased by 12.1% compared to the same month last year, although load factor dipped 0.6 percentage points to 94.8%.
