Ryanair’s passenger numbers rose to 14.2m last month, when it operated 82,600 flights.
It managed to fill 91% of its seats, compared to just 67% in April 2021.
In the past 12 months, the airline has carried just over 110m passengers, almost three times more than this time last year, with just 17% of its seats left empty. A year ago, it had only managed to carry 28.5m and it was only filling 71% of its flights.
