Riviera Travel has announced it will relaunch its Vault agent reward scheme in September as it revealed the winner of its first grand prize of a seven-night cruise.
Part of Riviera Explorer, the operator’s e-learning platform, the scheme gives agents rewards for bookings.
The Vault initially ran from July to mid-August, with Newell’s Travel Assistant Manager Annie Hughes winning the grand prize of a seven-night cruise for two on Resplendence, which will launch in 2026. The prize also includes flights, transfers, excursions and all-inclusive drinks.
She said: “I’m absolutely stoked to have won – I’ll be taking my mum on the cruise as she loves being at sea, and we’re looking at June or July next year.
“Riviera makes things so easy for us agents, they’re always in touch, they support us with training, and their product is such a natural fit for our customers.
“A huge proportion of our demographic is retired, so Riviera is a perfect match, but we’re also seeing more multi-generational bookings, with adult children taking their parents on a special trip.
“Since Covid, people are much more willing to invest in once-in-a-lifetime experiences and they really value travel now that we’ve seen how quickly it can be taken away.”
Riviera Travel Director of Trade & Partnerships UK & Ireland Vicky Billing added: “We’re always striving to be easy to do business with, and the introduction of the Vault has helped us achieve just that.
“The engagement has been phenomenal, and I’m genuinely excited to re-launch the Vault in September ahead of Mini Peaks, where we’ll be offering even more prizes to reward our amazing travel agent partners.”
