Abercrombie & Kent Head of Agency Sales Richard Hey has left to launch a trade representation business.
Richard, who also oversaw sales for A&K’s sister brand Cox & Kings, has signed up three suppliers to his new venture, The Travel Representation Company, which will provide a business development service, including visiting agents.
The clients are Worldchoice Sports; Exoticca, which has signed Richard up to represent the brand in the north of England and Midlands; and Beachcomber Tours, which Richard will represent in East Lancashire, Yorkshire and Lincolnshire.
Richard said: “I am thrilled to introduce The Travel Representation Company to the industry. My goal is to leverage my experience and deep industry connections to provide unparalleled support to our partners.”
