Almost 100 more members have joined Protected Trust Services (PTS) so far this year, pushing its total to 511.
The number includes 167 franchise ATOL holders, with a total of 3,088 users across the 511 members.
“Our community includes high street travel agencies, tour operators and homeworker divisions with from 14 agents to 328,” said Managing Director Emma Collis.
“To date in 2026 we have welcomed 96 new members into PTS.”
When Emma joined the company in 2018, initially as New Member Manager, it had 41 members supported by a team of five staff, which has increased over the past eight years to 40.
“I am incredibly proud of what PTS has become and extremely grateful for every person I get to work alongside each day,” she said.
“This success belongs to our members, our partners and our team. It belongs to every person who has trusted us with their business, challenged us to improve, shared an idea or supported others in making this community what it is today.”
Emma said a key part of PTS’ success was its technology, in which it is continuing to invest.
“We now have a team of 12 in-house developers and have invested significantly in improving our technology,” she said.
“As technology continues to evolve, we know there is still more to improve and enhance. That investment will continue because the needs of travel businesses never stand still.”
The development is being guided by an in-house member forum, she added. “Our members tell us what they need, where things can improve and which enhancements will make the biggest difference to their businesses.
“They help shape what we build. In the last two weeks, we have expanded into brand-new offices to accommodate our ever-growing team and support the next stage of the business, with our new headquarters in Westbourne, Bournemouth, and a second office in Sunderland city centre.”
Emma said training is also a key part of the PTS offering. “This year, 87 agents have already attended our face-to-face training, with several more training days still to come,” she added.
“Quality training remains incredibly important to us, and we are proud to offer an open-door approach to our members. They are always welcome to visit us for face-to-face training, support and time with the team. We love it, and we absolutely encourage it.”
