Princess Cruises has cancelled all sailings on Majestic Princess from Galveston, Texas, next year.
The line confirmed it has scrapped the full season of Caribbean cruises on the ship from November 2026 to March 2027, stating the decision was due to its ‘broader global fleet deployment strategy’.
Guests booked on affected cruises are being given a full refund and the option to book an alternative sailing with Princess.
In a statement Princess said: “Princess Cruises has made the difficult decision to cancel all sailings aboard Majestic Princess from Galveston scheduled between November 2026 and March 2027 as part of our broader global fleet deployment strategy.
“We sincerely regret any inconvenience this may cause our guests and appreciate their understanding as we work to enhance our global cruise offerings.”
Princess hasn’t said where the ship will be sailing, but added: “We remain committed to delivering exceptional vacation experiences and look forward to welcoming guests aboard Majestic Princess in its soon-to-be-announced deployment.”
Regal Princess will still operate its scheduled Caribbean cruises from Galveston from March 2026.
