Independent travel agency Perfect Getaways is stepping up its recruitment drive a week after launching its homeworking venture.
The Cheshire-based agency, which has 10 shops across Cheshire, Merseyside and the Isle of Man, is hosting three recruitment events across the UK after it said it was ‘inundated’ with enquiries about Perfect Getaways Travel Partners.
The ‘Perfect Fit Days’ are being held at Liverpool Airport on 17 September and Gatwick Airport on 20 October, with details to be announced for a third event at Jet2’s head office in Leeds shortly. Places at the sessions are strictly capped at 20.
Perfect Getaways Travel Partners launched last week after securing £10,000 in marketing support from Jet2holidays’ ‘Scale Up Your Street’ initiative.
The new division was first joined by new-to-travel couple Amy and Dan Jillings, who secured £20,000 worth of sales in the first seven days as Travel Partners, followed by former Not Just Travel Senior Business Development Manager Natalie Singleton as Head of Travel Partners.
A second Travel Partner, Mica Jones, has also started at Perfect Getaways Travel Partners this week after 20 years in the industry.
Natalie said: “What a first week. Mica added: “Having been in the travel industry for a long time, and having had one-and-a-half years out for my newborn baby, I was desperate to find the perfect opportunity to fit in around my circumstances and deliver the amount of business I know I can produce.
