Norse Atlantic filled 94% of its seats for a second month in a row in January, equalling its highest-ever load factor.
The airline said its load factor had increased by 30 percentage points year-on-year, having risen from 64% in January 2024.
It carried 111,543 passengers on 377 flights last month, 71% more than during the same period last year. A total of 140 flights were charters, compared to just 23 in January 2024.
However, there was a slip in its on-time performance across its network, with 70% of flights departing within 15 minutes of their scheduled slot compared to 80% in January 2024.
The airline yesterday confirmed a deal with India’s budget airline IndiGo to wet-lease one of its Boeing 787s from March and it says it is continuing discussions with the carrier to lease up to five more of its Dreamliners.
