Nominations open for AWTE Awards 2025

The Association of Women Travel Executives (AWTE) has opened nominations for its annual awards.

The 2025 awards recognise people in the industry who have contributed in areas such as diversity, innovation and leadership, particularly those championing women’s voices.

The winners will be announced at the AWTE annual Christmas Lunch on 28 November at Church House in Westminster.

Award categories are: Outstanding Achievement Award, Male Ambassador Award, Mentor of the Year Award, Sustainability Award, Unsung Hero Award, Rising Star of the Year Award and the Gillyan Shebbeare Award. The award is named after AWTE’s benefactor and honours exceptional fundraising efforts for charity. The winner receives a £500 grant for their chosen cause.

AWTE Chair Michelle Laverick said: “We are excited to once again honour individuals and organisations who go above and beyond to make our industry an incredible sector to work in. These awards embody our values of diversity, leadership, and meaningful impact, and it’s a pleasure to celebrate alongside our exceptionally talented peers.”
