Nicky Bird has left her role as Premier Holidays Business Development Manager South after nine months to join Holiday Best as Head of Trade.
Holiday Best launched in the UK in 2023 as a direct-sell tour operator, but later announced plans to start selling through travel agents.
In a post on LinkedIn, Nicky said: “I’m thrilled to share that I will be joining Holiday Best UK as Head of Trade.
“This UK-based Tour Operator is currently selling direct to consumer only but will be branching out to the travel trade later this year. I’m excited to take on this new challenge and lead the launching to something new for the UK Travel Trade Market.”
In an update to her profile, Nicky said she will be responsible for ‘driving our trade sales strategy and overseeing the development and management of relationships with our key trade partners’.
On leaving Premier, Nicky said: “l’ve had the privilege of making lasting memories, travelling to amazing destinations, and working with a fantastic team and a vibrant network of agents and accounts. Premier Holidays is a great brand and it will always hold a special place in my heart.”
Prior to joining Premier, Nicky spent a year as National Trade Manager at Red Sea Holidays.
