Nick Hughes has left his role of Director of Sales, Partnerships and Strategic Growth at Scenic Group.
Nick joined the group in February 2024 to oversee sales operations for both Scenic and Emerald Cruises brands.
He joined from Princess Cruises, where he was Sales Director. Before that he held director roles at dnata and Attraction World, among others.
Scenic Group issued a statement on Monday to say: “We can confirm that Nick Hughes has left the Scenic Group with immediate effect.
“We thank Nick for his time with the business and wish him well in his future endeavours.
“Whilst we review the current situation, the wider UK leadership team will ensure all operations continue in a business-as-usual way and we remain focussed on supporting our valued agent partners as we head into the busy WAVE period.”
Nick declined to comment.
Nick is currently Vice Chairman of ABTA’s Member Committee and Chairman of TIPTO.
On Friday, Nick was honoured at the Association of Women Travel Executives Platinum Christmas Lunch & Awards by being named joint Male Ambassador, alongside CV Villas Managing Director Pete Brudenell.
On social media, Nick said: “Having been associated with the organisation for over 20 years, this is something I’m immensely proud of, as are the women I’ve worked alongside, for, and had in my own teams.”
