Norwegian Cruise Line Holdings has ordered three new ships for all three of its cruise lines, Regent Seven Seas, Oceania and Norwegian Cruise Line.
The new ships, being built by Fincantieri in Italy, will be delivered in 2036 and 2037.
The new NCL ship will carry 5,000 passengers, significantly more than its newest ship, Norwegian Aura, due to debut in 2027, which has a maximum capacity of 3,840 guests.
The new ship will be a fifth in a new, yet-to-be named new class for NCL, the first four of which will be delivered in 2030, 2032, 2034 and 2036.
Regent Seven Seas will receive a fourth Prestige Class ship, which is scheduled for delivery in 2036. It will follow the debut of Seven Seas Prestige (pictured) in December this year, with the second and third Prestige Class ships entering service in 2030 and 2033.
Meanwhile, Oceania Cruises will receive a fifth Sonata Class ship in 2037. The first, Oceania Sonata, will be delivered in August 2027, a second, Oceania Arietta, will follow in 2029, and two more will be delivered in 2032 and 2035.
