MSC’s third World Class ship to sail in the Med

MSC Cruises has opened bookings for its newest World Class ship, MSC World Asia, which will sail in Europe from December 2026.

The ship will start sailing on 11 December on seven-night winter 2026-27 and summer 2027 itineraries including Barcelona, Marseille, Genoa, Civitavecchia for Rome, Messina and Valletta.

MSC Cruises CEO Gianni Onorato said: “We have chosen to deploy our latest flagship in the Western Mediterranean as it is our most popular region. MSC World Asia will further enhance our lineup in the region, giving guests even more choice of embarkation ports and itineraries for their winter escape or summer holiday.

“As with each of our new ships, we’ll introduce innovative new concepts, venues and services to deliver the ultimate cruise experience for our guests.”

MSC World Asia will be the third in cruise line’s World Class ships and will join MSC World Europa, which launched in December 2021 and MSC World America, which will sail in the Caribbean from Miami when it launches in April.
