Motorsport Tickets, which sold through the trade, has ceased trading and called in liquidators.
In a message on its website, the London-based company said: “We must advise you that the company is unable to meet any future bookings.
“The Board has instructed Insolvency Practitioners at Crowe UK LLP to prepare the company for liquidation that follows a decision to immediately cease trading the business of the company.”
It told customers to claim a refund from their card issuer, adding: “If a claim cannot be successfully made against your bank or credit card provider, you will have a claim against the Company.
“Further information will be provided by Crowe UK LLP in due course, including on how a claim can be made.”
The message said sister company Book Events Ltd has also ceased trading.
