Airbus has confirmed most of the 6,000 A320s that were issued with a safety alert on Friday have now been modified, with only around 100 still requiring work.
Airbus ordered repairs to be undertaken before the next flight following a warning solar radiation could interfere with onboard computers.
UK travellers were warned they faced disruption, but the Civil Aviation Authority said on Saturday: “While some disruption had been anticipated, very few UK airline flights are affected and passengers are experiencing minimal impacts.
“Following this work, only a small number of aircraft operated by UK carriers are still awaiting a software/hardware change.
“Given the spare aircraft capacity airlines have, especially at this time of year, we are not expecting any significant passenger disruption.”
EasyJet and Wizz Air said they completed the upgrades over the weekend without cancelling any flights. US airline JetBlue said it would cancel 20 flights for today (Monday).
London Gatwick Airport said there had been ‘some disruption’ on Friday, but Heathrow, Manchester and Luton said they hadn’t experienced any problems.
