Former Bedsonline Account Director Sarah-Jane Penn has joined easyJet holidays as Trade Distribution Manager for Birmingham and the South regions. She told Travel Gossip a little bit more about herself…
I never travel without… make-up.
The famous person (dead or alive) I’d most like to sit next to on a plane is… Hugh Grant. He’s charming with a naughty side; I think he would have great conversations.
My weakness is… sweet treats, particularly traditional puddings. I love homemade rice pudding and sticky toffee.
The last place I visited was… Turkey. I love the food and the culture.
The best piece of advice I’ve been given is… live for the moment and enjoy life. This advice came from my mum who is my absolute rock.
If I could have one thing for the rest of my life it would be… a glass of fizz!
The emoji I use most often is… ❤️
The thing I miss most while travelling is… my dog Archie, a Shihpoo. He’s 10 years old but still acts like a puppy – he loves stealing slippers and hiding them!
When I left school, I wanted to be… an ambulance driver after watching Casualty as a child.
The thing I’m most proud of is… my three children, who are now young adults. I have 21-year-old twins and a 17-year-old.
In my new role, I’ll be… supporting our valued agent partners and looking for opportunities to drive further growth across my key regions.
What attracted me to the job was… the brand’s reputation, the fact it’s a growing tour operator, and the brilliant, passionate team.
The first thing I notice about someone when I meet them is… their shoes. I’m not sure why, but they’re always the first thing I look at.
If I won the Lottery tomorrow, I would… buy and renovate an old farmhouse in the Derbyshire Dales.
