I never travel without…a book.
The famous person (dead or alive) I’d most like to sit next to on a plane is… literally no one, I am horrible flyer and the worst version of myself on a plane. I am anti-social and just want to sleep.
If I had a tattoo, it would be… I have two already. My third is going to be my ‘hug button’ – a simple heart that my daughter draws on my wrist every time I travel away from home.
The next place I’ll visit is… Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania later this month on a walking holiday.
The last place I visited was… Madrid.
My most memorable travel experience was… watching condors soar at sunrise in Colca Canyon near Arequipa, Peru.
The worst thing I ate or drank abroad was… roasted witchetty grubs in Australia. They pop in your mouth and have a weird buttery taste.
My bucket-list destination is… Japan or Uganda.

The best piece of advice I’ve been given is… the first time you are disrespected, leave – professionally or personally.
If I could eat one thing for the rest of my life it would be… chippy tea from Murdishaw Chippy in Runcorn.
The things I miss most while travelling is… my family and a good cuppa tea.
When I left school, I wanted to be… a criminologist.
The thing I’m most proud of is… my recovery from heart bypass surgery last year.
My role is… Senior BDM for Explore. I look after the South, West and Wales region and manage national key accounts.
What attracted me to the job was… sustainable tourism is a passion of mine. I love the ethos at Explore, the leadership and team are amazing. It’s my style of travel and I currently have three trips booked.
Outside work, you’ll usually find me… at home with the family and my sausage dogs.
The first thing I notice about a person when I meet them is… how they treat people. And their shoes. I love shoes.
If I won the Lottery tomorrow, I would… book a holiday, of course.
