Australia-based luxury travel company Captain’s Choice is looking to work with more travel agents to expand its presence in the UK.
The operator, founded in Australia 30 years ago, has always had a UK website and already works with some agents over here, but only on an ad hoc basis.
However, it believes its range of worldwide, off the shelf ATOL-protected itineraries that include privately chartered jets, trains and ships will attract more retailers.
Manager UK & Europe Cait Gargett said she is ‘starting conversations with luxury agents to develop more formal working relationships going forward’.
Itineraries include an 18-day Latin America & Atlantic Islands trip, for no more than 50 guests, which includes travel by a privately-chartered business class Boeing 757, and a 14-day exploration of Sri Lanka, including a trip on a privately-chartered Viceroy Special train.
